Death in the family

On April 20th, 2008, my father, Herman Clifton Morgan, Jr., passed away at the age of 76. Born in Allen Tx. on June 24, 1931, to Herman Morgan, Sr. and Velma Johnson Morgan, he went into the Army at an early age and served 21 years, including two tours in Korea and two in Vietnam. After he retired, he drove a truck for about 31 years, then retired. He was survived by his wife, Lyndia, aged 52, daughter Diane, aged 53, from a previous marriage, two sons, Chris Morgan, aged 32, myself, Herman Morgan III, aged 28, his other daughter, Brandi, aged 18, and his two granddaughters, Danica, aged 10, and Aubrey, aged 11 months. He was a dedicated soldier, a loving husband, and a doting father and grandfather. There are many who miss him. His funeral service was at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, AR on April 24, 20o8 RIP, Soldier We miss you, Dad
